The 2017-8 began 21 days earlier than the previous year. Buffy & John kicked off the season with a 2 day trip to Mt. Snow to prepare for the opening of Mountain Creek.  We have been tracking our days skiing.  The results are below.

*  Hidden Valley Club is now called The National Winter Activity Center & is closed to public skiing.  ** a new on snow record!

* The ski season has arrived.  To get a head start Buffy & John visited Mount Snow in Vernont on Tuesday and Wednesday - December 12tha nd 13th in advance of the opening of Mountain Creek on Friday.  We stayed a wonderful in called the Gray Ghost Inn (named after a fishing tied fly) which was so nice we are included a link on the site below so if you decide to go the Mt. Snow you will give the Gray Ghost Inn a try and say "Hi" to the Innkeeper, Carina for us.  You will love it.

*  Buffy & John celebrated the coming of Chistmas at daughte Denise and Patrick's home on Saturday, December 2nd.  The photo taken at the event documents how everyone has grown.

*  John has just published his 15th book "The Women's Guide to Learning to Play Golf for Fun!".  The book was written to provide women, wives, and girlfriends who may wish to join their friends, husbands, and boy friends for a fun round of golf.  The book details how to make learning to play golf easy and fun.  The book is available online at Lulu.com in paperback edition.  An eBook edition will be available shorly.
